Team SummaryVisa’s Government Engagement (GE) organization aims to create broad alignment between Visa’s business objectives and public policies that affect the payments industry. Our U.S. Government Engagement (USGE) team is headquartered in Washington, D.C. with colleagues in California and Utah. We engage with a wide range of policy makers and stakeholders to advocate, educate, and provide thought leadership as it relates to Visa’s policy interests to expand access and usage of digital payments around the world.What a Senior Manager of Strategy and Operations does at VisaReporting directly to the Senior Director for USGE's Strategy and Operations team, this position will have an active role in USGE’s strategic planning, content development, business operations, and reporting in addition to continuously driving process improvements and alignment across the team. Essential FunctionsDevelop thoughtful, and relevant USGE-related content including presentations, talking points, and newsletters. Support the review and editing of USGE briefing materials. Produce executive-level reporting on USGE activities and priority issues.Play an active role in key operational activities such as the Annual Operating Planning (AOP), internal audits, and compliance reporting.Support the planning and execution of large- and small-scale events for internal and external audiences.Continuously review and enhance USGE tools, SOPs, templates, and processes to ensure accuracy and maximize productivity for the team.Support collaboration between USGE and cross-functional business partners.Support the implementation of a multi-year strategic plan and drive collective accountability against related OKRs.Support USGE’s participation in Visa’s intern program and rotational development programs.This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
