Security Supervisor

OverviewOversee and supervise security agents and security contractors.Salary and Benefit Statement:Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience.Compensation package: Range: $63,000-$78,750This position is eligible to participate in a bonus program. Metrics and level of participation are determined annually.This position is eligible for health care benefits, life insurance, time off benefits and participation in the Company’s 401(k) plan.Responsibilities

Observe, detect, and report any suspicious activities, criminal acts, or company policy infractions.

Conduct foot and/or vehicle patrol (interior and/or exterior) of property.

Monitor access and control CCTV and alarm systems.

Respond in a timely manner to all incidents to include medical emergencies, accidents, and alarms by following emergency response procedures in accordance with company policies.

Manage security policies and procedures and monitor effectiveness of security practices.

Acting as a liaison between law enforcement and regulatory agencies regarding active investigations.

Conduct thorough investigations into security breaches, incidents, or suspicious activities that may lead to disciplinary actions or criminal prosecution.

Interview witnesses.

Gather evidence.

Document investigation with detailed written reports.

Analyze all data from loss and incidents and make mitigation recommendations to senior leadership.

Maintain the relationship with contracted security that shadow our associates in high crime neighborhoods to ensure the safety of them, our product, and our property.

Assist with surveillance and investigations outside of BBG property, as needed.

Assist with conducting regulatory audits as needed.

Assist with training of Security Agents and Contractors.

Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience

Minimum of 5 years’ experience loss prevention, employee health & safety, or physical security

Proficient PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation software

Must be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skills

Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines

Analytic and Reporting skills

Utilize sound judgement and problem-solving skills

Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environment

Valid driver’s license

Surveillance skills

Preferred Qualifications:

CPR/AED certified

Proprietary systems knowledge, Cisco systems, or equivalent.

Safety management

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone
