We seek a seasoned Senior Salesforce Developer to join our talented team.As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will be responsible for developing and customizing Salesforce applications to meet the unique needs of our mission. Your deep technical knowledge and hands-on experience with Salesforce technologies will be critical in delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.The work location for this exciting opportunity is virtual. The selected candidate will work 100% remotely from home and can be located anywhere in the United States with a preference to work East Coast hours.WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FOR GOOD (Key Responsibilities): Design, develop, test, and deploy customized Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and other Salesforce technologies. Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical specifications. Implement integrations between Salesforce and external systems using APIs, web services, and middleware. Perform code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions to optimize performance and user experience. Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits. Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions. Stay current with Salesforce platform updates, new features, and best practices. Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance and support.Scope: Individual contributor that works under limited supervision. Apply subject matter knowledge. Capacity to understand specific needs or requirements to apply skills/knowledge.Qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. The American Red Cross does not sponsor employment visas.WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (required/minimum qualifications): Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 7+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience. Strong expertise in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud. Proficient in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Salesforce integration patterns. Salesforce Platform Developer I & II certifications REQUIRED; other advanced Salesforce certifications are a plus. Proven experience in developing and delivering complex Salesforce projects. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Combination of candidate’s education and general experience satisfies requirements so long as the total years equate to description’s minimum education and general experience years combined (Management experience cannot be substituted).

+PAY INFORMATION:The starting annual salary range for this position is $125K - $135K. We do not offer an annual bonus for this role.Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role.
