Emseal, A Sika Company, is a manufacturer of premium sealants and expansion joint systems for the commercial construction industry and many specialty market applications.This position will be responsible for promoting, specifying, and selling Emseal's full line of structural expansion joint & pre-compressed sealant products to commercial contractors throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.  This role involves closing deals and increasing sales, safeguarding margins, building strong customer relationships and expanding customer base, providing technical support, and achieving sales targets. This role will also attend trade shows, manage sales team, reps, and distributors, and represent Emseal on jobsites. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, goal driven, have strong presentation, leadership, and sales management skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Travel nearly every week within region promoting and selling Emseal’s full line of structural expansion joint & pre-compressed sealant products.Use Dodge and Salesforce.com and other systems as appropriate to identify opportunities, schedule lunch seminars and document notes, issue bidding leads, and strategically plan weekly travel.Conduct small group, large group, and one-on-one presentations in firms of architects, engineers, distributors and construction contracting firms.Train and manage sales performance of internal sales team and Independent Manufacturer Reps.Represent Emseal on jobsites during installation demonstrations, inspections and walk through, and complaint resolution meetings.Communicate technical concepts, explanation and justification of quotations, negotiation and closing of sales, and generate frequent and regular written and verbal communications with clients and prospects throughout the day.Attend and exhibit at tradeshows and other industry events to promote and demonstrate the product line using computer-based presentation tools, physical samples, and hands-on demonstrations.Represent Emseal at FCIA (Firestop Contractors International Association) and RCI (Roof Consultants Institute) and attend annual shows; be an active member of local chapters of ICRI (International Concrete Repair Institute) and CSI (Construction Specifications Institute) and attend local shows on Emseal’s behalf. Facilitate complaints and negotiate compromise resolutions to benefit involved parties.
