Pricing Manager | Washington, DCJob Description:

Development and preparation of various critical documents, such as cost models, cost narratives, and other essentials, all of which are crucial to streamline and support the pricing activities of the company.

Application of accounting and statistical principles to analyze the complex aspects of pricing within the technical requirements of requests for proposals (RFPs).

Analyzing RFPs to ascertain the specific cost proposal prerequisites and to assist in formulating a price-to-win strategy.

Knowledge of DFARS and FAR

Meet the specific requirements of solicitations.

Essential support for proposal development and capture activities, guided by a profound understanding of federal regulations.

Ensure the highest level of compliance and responsiveness to the RFP while adhering to the company's accounting policies, internal standards, and government regulations.

Take charge of creating and maintaining comprehensive contracts and subcontracts reporting information, assisting with relevant actions which are essential to monitor and report on awards while maintaining contract compliance.

Strict adherence to compliance standards and comprehensive documentation in alignment with company policies and procedures.

Reviewing inputs to ensure the responsiveness of proposals to the RFP and their alignment with accounting policies, company standards, and government regulations.

Quality assurance reviews will be integral to your role, ensuring that all pricing-related actions within the proposal are comprehensive, complete, and fully responsive.

Your role will also encompass essential support for Contracts and Subcontracts Management reporting and activities upon award.

The ability to work in a deadline-sensitive environment is paramount, and your flexibility to accommodate after-hours work and attend in-person meetings when needed will be greatly appreciated.

Skills and Qualifications:

A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in government pricing and contracting is necessary.

Bachelor's Degree

Familiarity and training in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) concepts are prerequisites for this position.

Membership in the National Contract Management Association (NCMA) is highly preferred.

Your ability to apply contracts management concepts within company's contracting environment is vital, as is your proficiency in advanced Excel skills.

Effective communication, both in oral and written form, will be an asset, and strong interpersonal skills are a necessity, especially in engaging with employees at all organizational levels, including key stakeholders.

Meticulous attention to detail and your unwavering commitment to meeting deadlines will be crucial in this role.

Ability to obtain a security clearance is required.
