Description We are in search of a Loan Accounting Manager who will be based in our Washington, DC office. This role is integral to our finance team and will involve overseeing loan accounting processes, liaising with external auditors, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. Responsibilities: Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring they adhere to accounting standards and company policies Collaborate with the fund accounting teams to track and allocate cash across multiple funds and investors Liaise with third-party loan accounting firms, reviewing their work for accuracy and compliance Reconcile cash movements and financial transactions between the loan funding team and the investment funds or other investors Work closely with external auditors, providing necessary documentation and facilitating audits Review, approve, and record journal entries related to funding adjustments in the general ledger Monitor and analyze discrepancies in cash reconciliation and take immediate action to resolve any issues Regularly prepare and present financial reports, including liquidity, balance sheet & P& L forecasts, and variance analyses to senior management Develop and maintain internal controls and processes to ensure accurate cash flow reporting and loan accounting Support special projects related to financial reporting, process improvements, and audit readiness, utilizing skills such as Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, BlackLine, Concur, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Auditing, Billing Functions Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required Must have experience with ADP - Financial Services Familiarity with BlackLine is necessary Proficiency in using Concur is required Must have knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning Expertise in Accounting Functions is necessary Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is required Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary Auditing skills are a must Must have experience in Billing FunctionsPlease reach out to Mahil Santram via LinkedIn if interested in this Loan Accounting Manager role.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
