We are currently seeking a Grants Specialist with 3 years of experience to join our team and fully embrace our commitment to deliver, grow and thrive . About the Role: As a Grants Specialist supporting our Federal government client, you will be trusted to provide pre-award and post-award grant support for a Federal government client focused on assisting minority-owned businesses and institutions in pursuit of federal financial aid. Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Assist Federal clients with administering multiple nationwide grants program, supporting program monitoring and technical assistance activities, and preparing grant closeout procedures

Integrate grants management and compliance requirements knowledge (2 CFR 200) across program support and drafting of external and internal technical assistance materials

Provide pre- and post monitoring engagement support to Federal clients; prepare for and execute these monitoring events, including developing agendas, planning logistics, knowledge capture, tracking actions, producing reports, and/or supporting next steps

Support compiling, cleaning, quality control, and analyzing datasets with expert guidance using a data management platform to inform program status

Maintain and update standard operating procedures and templates

Assist the team in updating and maintaining project dashboards

Assist the team to prepare for and execute meetings, including developing agendas, overall logistics, note taking, tracking actions, producing reports, and/or supporting next steps

Support cross-departmental initiatives, effectively collaborating with all parties to successfully fulfill client needs

If not proficient, a willingness to learn Piktochart, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Location:

You will work as part of a dynamic team remotely. You will work at the client site dependent on contract requirements.

Required Experience/Skills:

Bachelor’s degree

3 years of professional experience that includes internships, bonus if experience has been within the Federal government

1+ years experience working in Federal or non-profit grants, knowledge of full lifecycle grants management from pre-award through closeout

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment by communicating effectively

Receptive to all forms of feedback from clients and colleagues, and proactive to make changes

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Demonstrates a positive attitude even when faced with changes or adversity

Strong research and analytical capabilities, with experience evaluating quantitative as well as qualitative data

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance

Ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to changing priorities

Ability to work independently and take tasks from concept to delivery

US citizenship and the ability to pass public trust clearance or suitability

Preferred Experience/Skills:

Previous experience in consulting, change management, business writing, meeting preparation and facilitation, and/or monitoring and evaluation methodologies
