As a Certified Peer Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing support and assistance to youth with behavioral health challenges. As a Peer Support Specialists work as a member of the FEP or TYA team, advocating and working with your assigned clients. Your experience and expertise will help empower individuals on their journey to recovery and wellness.ResponsibilitiesProvide peer support services to individuals with behavioral health challengesUtilize your personal experience with recovery to inspire hope and promote self-determinationCollaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plansAssist individuals in identifying and accessing community resources and support servicesFacilitate peer-led groups and workshops focused on various topics related to mental health and recoveryServe as a mentor and role model, offering guidance and support based on your own experiencesAdvocate for the rights and needs of individuals with behavioral health challenges
