Job Description:Accounts Payable TechnicianWe are looking for a friendly and organized individual who is interested in joining an innovative, growing company! We are an Affordable Housing Management Company with a portfolio of over fifty properties throughout Missouri. The Accounts Payable Technician will provide support to the Property Accounting Department, while adhering to departmental procedures. This is a full-time position. Full benefits, PTO available.Responsibilities
Managing accounts payable using accounting software and other programs
Handling accounts payable for separate entities and vendors
Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors
Ensuring bills and payroll are paid in a timely and accurate manner
Processing due invoices for payments accurately and timely
Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges
Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling multiple accounts
Maintain 1099 vendor files for accuracy and up to date W9 s for tax reporting
Special projects as required
Act as primary back-up to other Accounts Payable Technicians during absences.
Requirements
Accounting experience
Microsoft Office
Yardi experience a plus - we will train
