 Unloads freight from inbound trailersDistributes freight to local P&D BrokersMarks materials with identifying informationRecords amounts of materials or items received or distributedCounts and on occasion is required to weigh items to ensure conformance to the shipper's bill of ladingStarts reefers, placards trailers as requiredArranges freight in specified sequence for maximum usage of trailer spaceMay drive vehicle/tow motor to transport stored items from dock warehouse to the trailerAssembles specific types of equipment such as stake and rack trailers and covering with a vinyl or canvas tarpulanMust take an active role in safety and maintenance of the warehouse by sweeping the floor, proper storage of dunnage, etc.This job has no supervisory responsibilitiesOther duties may be assigned
