In this role, you'll serve as the vanguard of procurement, bridging the Service & Governance unit of Real Estate, local business management, and demand owners. As a critical player in the global Siemens Mobility Procurement team and the US procurement team, you'll orchestrate strategic sourcing for Real Estate demands, ranging from construction/fit-out projects to facility services.Your day-to-day adventures will include:

Catalyzing strategic procurement initiatives for all Real Estate material fields in the US, including construction projects, facility services, and Energy Management.

Pioneering cross-functional cost reduction initiatives across our diverse US sites.

Safeguarding an industry-leading sourcing process, ensuring transparency of purchasing volume, and upholding purchase-to-pay compliance.

Navigating supply market conditions, nurturing relationships with preferred suppliers, and unlocking innovation potential from our supplier base.

Steering demands from internal owners, encompassing the development of functional needs, supply scope analysis, partner management, and risk analysis within contractual obligations.

Identifying and managing procurement risks, opportunities, potential changes, and claims throughout the project lifecycle.

Offering professional support for business opportunities by delivering up-to-date cost assessments.

Coordinating activities with internal service providers, facilitating the sourcing and order processing of Real Estate demands.

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

8+ years of impactful experience in procurement, ideally within the Construction industry and Facility Management.

Robust international work experience and adept cross-functional collaboration skills in global organizations.

Solid knowledge of Real Estate commodities and mastery of operational procurement processes.

The ability to cultivate trust and confidence professionally.

Devotion to our core values of humility, hard work, execution excellence, thoughtful interpersonal interactions, and a focus on process and problem-solving.

Familiarity with direct awarding methods (eBids/eAuctions).

A strong affinity for automation and digitalization.

Fluency in English (required) and additional German, French, or Spanish proficiency is a bonus.

This career is based in one of our East Coast locations (New York City, NY, New Castle, DE, Alpharetta, GA, or Jacksonville, FL). The base salary range for this position in Alpharetta, GA or Jacksonville, FL, is $120,300 - $162,400. The base salary range in New Castle, DE, is $132,400 - $178,600. The base salary range in New York, NY, is $144,300 - $194,900, and the annual incentive target is 10% of the base salary.
