As the Project Manager you will lead and oversee projects to develop and implement new products or implement improvements to existing, life-saving products. Manage New Program Introduction (NPI) from charter through to commercialization into the marketplace.

Provide required support for efficient PI execution.

Oversee the project core team, ensure flawless interfaces and interdependencies between the functions, hold the team accountable to their deliverables.

Establish program objectives including measurable goals and program scorecards.

Author the Product Development Plan and ensure other functional planning documents are completed and up to date.

Establish program execution strategies and translate into cross functional integrated schedules; actively monitor.

Responsible for risks, risk mitigations and risk management activities, ensure effective mitigations in place; monitor risks throughout the program; transfers documentation.

Utilize Design Control phase/ gate process to execute the program. Adhere to the IDI business process and all applicable QMS process.

Facilitate phase gate exit readiness reviews and stage design reviews; demonstrate proper phase gate criteria for exit during gate reviews.

Coordinate Program Core Team meeting as needed, especially when key program impact decisions are necessary.

Prepare and present program status, provide escalation communications as needed.

Responsible for the turnover of the project to manufacturing operations including providing complete project documentation.

Responsible for monitoring and providing regular communication and updates on success factors such as progress, schedule, budget, project risks and resource or needs gaps.

What We Expect

Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences.

Create precise, accurate technical documentation and presentations and ability to facilitate group discussions.

Ability to coordinate cross-functional projects, people, and teams.

Thorough working knowledge of product development, project management, project risk identification and management, design control procedures.

Skilled in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, PPM tools, such as Smartsheet, Planview, reporting dashboards, etc.

Strong technical aptitude, analytical, business management and strategic thinking skills.

Self-starter with a strong proactive work ethic, well-organized and detail-oriented.

PMP Certification is beneficial.

Experience with ISO and FDA quality systems regulations and medical device design and development cycles is beneficial.

Prior experience in new product development is beneficial.

Education

Preferred Minimum Non-Technical Degree: College Degree 5-8 Years

Preferred Minimum Technical/Advanced Degree: Technical Bachelor’s Degree 2-5 Years with Technical Bachelor’s Degree, 1-3 Years with Master’s Degree, 0-1 Years with PhD
