Bookkeeper

Description We are in search of a meticulous part-time Bookkeeper. The Bookkeeper will primarily handle duties such as payroll management, billing, and maintaining the general ledger. This role provides an opportunity to work in the finance industry, specifically in Newark, Delaware. This is an exciting contract to permanent employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Accurately handle payroll related tasks Efficiently process billing and related procedures Maintain and update the general ledger meticulously Reconcile account balances and bank statements Manage open payables and cross reference reports Provide accurate bookkeeping and data entry services Utilize Microsoft Excel for various financial tasks Manage the month-end close procedures Proficiently use QuickBooks for finance related tasks Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processesRequirements Minimum of 1 year experience in a bookkeeping role is required Proficiency in account reconciliation is necessary Demonstrable ability in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is essential Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is mandatory Familiarity with bank reconciliations is a must Proven bookkeeping skills are required Proficient data entry skills are necessary Expertise in Microsoft Excel is essential Experience in month end close activities is required Knowledge of payroll processes is a must Proficiency in QuickBooks is mandatory Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
