Description We are searching for an Accounting Associate Intermediate to join our team in Newark, Delaware. The role is within the Loan Trading Documentation team, focusing on trade support. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity where you will have the opportunity to work in a hybrid model, with a combination of office and remote work. Responsibilities: Review and coordinate the settlement of third party assignments in collaboration with front office clients, counsel, and operations. Establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients and counterparts. Manage a heavy trade portfolio across various business lines, ensuring a clean ageing profile. Review LSTA standard documents along with other legal documents, and Credit Agreements, focusing on assignability language. Identify and escalate issues to front office, in-house legal counsel, and management when necessary. Prepare daily and weekly MIS reports to track the status of open items and measure risk. Demonstrate strong time management skills and the ability to organize workload efficiently. Communicate effectively with clients, showing attention to detail and not being afraid to ask questions. Take initiative to learn and understand all aspects of the role. Utilize Microsoft Excel and other relevant software for various tasks including documentation, reporting, and operations.
