Job DescriptionThe Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure is seeking an experienced software engineer to help us build a highly scalable, cloud native configuration service. Multiple layers of configuration settings from hardware t-shirt sizing to customer specific application customization come together to build, deliver, and run Oracle Health applications. This is a greenfield opportunity to design, build and operation an integral component of our healthcare modernization and automation journey.Qualifications8 plus years of Java, Ruby, or Python, REST APIs, and databasesExperience designing, building, and maintaining hyper scale, cloud native applications a plusExperience with configuration management systems a plusStrong SDLC, CI/CD, DevOps, SCM experienceStrong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.Experience with software testing, debugging, and quality assurance processes.Jenkins experience a plusUS citizen is a plusResponsibilitiesKey responsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain the full stack (front-end and back-end) of the configuration service.Collaborate across the team and organization on features and functionality.Writes correct, secure, maintainable, robust code and appropriate tests. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
