HR is engaged in a transformational journey to help PNNL meet its talent acquisition and retention goals through innovative benefits, compensation, learning, and workforce programs.We are on a mission to find a Senior Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team!Reporting to the Recruiting Team Leader, the Senior Recruiter is responsible for the sourcing, screening, and presenting qualified candidates for various roles. The Senior Recruiter networks online and offline with potential candidates to promote our employer brand, reduces our time-to-hire and ensures we attract the best quality candidates.Remote and/or hybrid options available!Responsibilities

Collaborates with hiring leaders to identify job openings and the technical requirements for those openings

Serves as a subject matter expert for assigned positions and/or areas

Assists with the development and/or revision of job postings for selected positions and posts job postings to relevant media platforms; Identifies the most effective methods for recruiting and attracting candidates

Champions diversity, equity, and inclusion through every aspect of the hiring journey

Sources potential candidates on niche platforms such as LinkedIn, Handshake, Seekout, Slack, Github, etc.

Crafts and sends personalized recruiting e-mails

Identifies appropriate candidates and assesses their qualifications through review of resumes,interviews, pre-screening calls, etc.

Presents applications/resumes of the most suitable candidates to the hiring leader; Arranges telephone, video, and/or in-person interviews

Maintains contact with candidates to ensure excellent candidate experience

Provides advice to hiring leaders regarding salary negotiations with final candidates

Extends job offers and kicks off the relevant onboarding processes as applicable

Generates contacts by maintaining a presence in the technical/industry/community

Ensures compliance with all applicable employment laws and policies

Attends job fairs, industry conferences, meetups, etc. to network with potential candidates

Promotes PNNL’s reputation as a great place to work

Stays up to date with new technological trends and products

Serves as a mentor and resource to Talent Acquisition Team

Performs other duties as assigned

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:

BS/BA and 7 years of relevant experience -OR-

MS/MA or higher and 5 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional License and/or certification

Experience with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs) and Candidate Management Systems (CMSs)
