What Data & Analytics Management contributes to Cardinal HealthThe Data & Analytics Function oversees the analytics lifecycle to identify, analyze and present relevant insights that drive business decisions and anticipate opportunities to achieve a competitive advantage. This function manages analytic data platforms, the access, design and implementation of reporting/business intelligence solutions, and the application of advanced quantitative modeling.Data & Analytics Management provides strategic oversight, leadership, and direction within the Data & Analytics function.Job SummaryThe Director, Digital Partner – Corporate Finance serves as a trusted transformation partner for the Medical and Pharmaceutical Finance Teams. The Digital Partner works with the business to run analytics (day-to-day business insights), manage specific projects/requests, and lead disruptive transformation initiatives. The Digital Partner strives to deliver tangible business value in a quick iterative (agile) development model and can scale solutions throughout the value chain.Digital Partners will have pods of resources supporting them with data engineering, data science and visualization, data automation, and data analysis. One key part of a Digital Partner’s role is to drive the shift in company culture towards true ‘digital’ culture, by conducting Gemba walks, QBRs, Roadshows, and Show & Tells with various levels of business leaders.Responsibilities

Serve as primary Digital Solutions business partner to the Finance Corporate function.

Engage business leaders with thought leadership to solve complex business problems and impact critical business metrics leveraging ‘All’ of the services available across Digital Solutions

Lead operating & engagement model with business as situation demands, define clear RACI & participation at key levels.

Manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously to ensure delivery according to schedule and budget commitments.

Conduct design thinking sessions to identify the best solutions for business needs/problems.

Transform current state business intelligence & reporting portfolio by maximizing automated data pipelines and eliminating redundant reports.

Quantify value success criteria’s that would lead value to be realized by P&L

Function as a thought partner to the financial businesses to solve complex business problems and facilitate art of the possible sessions to help business teams understand more about how data and analytics can help them with business problems.

Demonstrate effective communication and change management skills to varying audiences.

Support preparation and execution of QBRs with functional leaders.

Track development, delivery & value realization. Update business via Agile ceremonies (Gemba walks, Show & Tells, MBRs/QBRs, Art of the Possible sessions). Lead Meaningful conversation on ‘trade offs’ to prioritize/ de-prioritize user stories.

Leads and manages a team of data engineering, data science and visualization, data automation, and BI&R experts.

Support persistent and project-based pods, with the ability to scale up/scale down dependent on business drivers.

Ensure a strong culture of collaboration, creativity, trust, and recognition.

Collaborate closely with clients, technicians, vendor and managerial staff in the United States and India.

Talent Management – Coaches, mentors, advocates, and/ sponsors promising individuals to support development and prepare for next role. Understands that the need to support direct team members is unique, and as such applies versatility in leadership and management.

Qualifications

12+ years of experience, preferred.

Bachelor’s degree, Advanced degree (Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field) or equivalent work experience preferred.

Experience in Data Analytics, Data Engineering, AI/ML, RPA, DPE, Business/ Digital Transformation.

Skilled user in Alteryx and EDNA.

Excels at building and cultivating relationships with senior leadership with a strong executive presence.

Experience leading, coaching, and developing large organizations with multiple levels of leadership (i.e., leader of leaders).

Proven record of leading large, transformative complex projects (e.g., Lighthouse projects) and delivering in alignment with business expectations.

Skilled communicator with a proven ability to manage change effectively.

Experience collaborating with international teams and consulting partners to drive outcomes and results.

Ability and proven experience translating complex financial information into clear and engaging narratives to influence decisions.

Centrally located to Dublin, OH or in the Eastern or Central time zones highly preferred.

The salary range listed is an estimate. Pay at Cardinal Health is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographical location, relevant education, experience and skills and an evaluation of internal pay equity.
