- Valid state license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Delaware.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
- CPR Certification.
- AED Certification.
- A minimum of three (3) years of supervised clinical nursing experience.
- Certification requirements as established by the State Board of Education.
- Satisfactory Child Protection Registry.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Mantoux skin test/PPD documentation.
- Cooperative Attitude.
- Good oral and written communication and the ability to present information effectively
- The State of Delaware requires all public school employees to undergo a criminal background
- check (state and federal) to determine suitability for employment.
- Appointment is contingent upon receipt of a satisfactory criminal background check, which is
- the responsibility of the employee.
- The State of Delaware requires new employees to be paid by direct deposit and to be part of a
- lag payroll system as conditions of employment.
- Additional qualifications and/or alternatives as deemed necessary by the Board of Education
- and Administration.
- Provide medical nursing services to all students
- Serve as District COVID-19 Summer Coordinator.
- Additional time as needed for contact tracing and COVID-19 coordination
