The Salon Professional Academy is seeking qualified instructors who always put our Future Professionals first. We seek fun, positive, and upbeat people who want to share their exceptional knowledge and create an effective learning environment that includes all learning types. This position requires passion, strong organizational and communication skills, a high level of commitment, and the ability to guide and motivate others.
The ideal candidate will have previous education and salon experience. They must have a passion for educating, motivating, mentoring, and coaching all Future Professionals, and inspiring and coaching them in all clinical and classroom settings. This position requires experience in positive and effective communication, as well as soft skills, professional development, and teamwork.
Skills/Competencies Required:
Current license issued by the Delaware Board of Cosmetology
Excellent organization, coaching, and communication skills
Skills in supervision, teamwork, and documentation.
Solid work history with verifiable references
Passion for the industry
Honesty and professionalism
MUST be able to work:
Different schedules may include days, nights, and weekends. There are times when the educational staff may be expected to attend other school-related functions that fall outside regular hours of operation. If requested, this is mandatory, and you will be compensated for your time.
