Description The Account Specialist uses their strong leadership and communication skills to succeed in a fast-paced challenging Supply Chain program. The Account Specialist for our client based in Windsor Locks, Connecticut, supports the day-to-day procurement strategy and processes. As an Account Specialist, your primary focus will be to support the supply chain program in a fast-paced environment. Your strong leadership and communication skills will be essential to managing the day-to-day procurement strategies.Key Responsibilities:
Support and implement the procurement strategic plan to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
Collaborate effectively with different departments to ensure seamless supply chain processes.
Analyze and troubleshoot any issues in the supply chain, fostering cost-effective and efficient resolutions.
Establish and manage account processes, focusing on customer satisfaction and sustained business relationships.
Regularly assess and update procurement strategies to ensure optimal supply chain operations.
Work in a fast-paced environment, executing workflows and systems efficiently to maximize productivity.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in supply chain management.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering, or a related field. Experience in a similar role is a definite plus.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in supply chain management software.
Strong ability to multitask, attention to detail, and work independently.
