Our client is looking for energetic and highly motivated candidates for a production planning role. The position is the focal point for the execution of daily activities to deliver high quality, highly engineered development and production hardware on-time to its customers. The selected candidate will be responsible for the timely performance of various manufacturing tasks ranging from requirements planning through the shipment of deliverables. o Ensure schedules are adhered to with proper sense of urgency to achieve customer delivery requirementso Monitor production schedules and advance materials through assembly and test operationso Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with the execution of production planso Release production orders, compile historical build folders, and assemble hardware kits in support of 100% on-time startso Coordinate the utilization of outside processes and the shipment of hardware to customerso Conduct root cause analysis when goals are not met and initiate corresponding corrective actions o Initiate and support process improvement initiatives.o Understand and interpret ERP system requirements and accurately integrate complex production schedulesAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Candidate should have experience on shop floor working with engineers/inspectors etc. ERP experience required (SAP Preferred)About Aston Carter: Aston Carter provides world-class corporate talent solutions to thousands of clients across the globe.
