Job SummaryThis position plays an important role as a marketing leader within the National Accounts line of business for WM. The role is responsible for leading staff in, and driving the design of planned and ad hoc marketing programs. This role will lead the strategic marketing process that will drive the integration of WM's marketing strategy for the National Accounts line of business. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: key initiative prioritization, development of marketing materials, and marketing resource allocation. The ideal incumbent is a strategic thinker, with a bias toward driving innovative ways to grow our business, is a strong collaborator who can translate internal stakeholder needs into structured plans, build competitive capabilities and optimize revenue. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.
Work with key stakeholders to establish strategic marketing plans to achieve corporate objectives.
Develops and executes marketing programs to achieve stated objectives regarding revenue, profitability, and market share.
Helps manage marketing budget.
Plans and oversees execution of promotional activities including print, electronic media, trade show, direct mail, and signage.
Has ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, matrixed, team environment both collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders as well as independently.
Communicates with outside advertising agencies on ongoing campaigns.
Manages development, production, and distribution of promotional and collateral materials to support sales and marketing programs.
Data driven prioritization and analysis of marketing programs. Adjusts strategy and tactics to increase effectiveness.
Plans and conducts market research to identify opportunities for increased sales.
Maintains customer database and approves the use of internal and external mailing lists.
Reviews analysis of marketing surveys on current and new concepts.
Provides post-event reports, analysis, and regular status reports on marketing programs.
Plans, promotes, and executes sales meetings and community and goodwill events.
Helps establish and maintain consistent corporate image throughout promotional materials and events.

IV. QualificationsThe requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.A. Education and Experience
Required: Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience, in Marketing or similar area of study, and seven to ten years previous experience.
Preferred: Master's Degree, or equivalent experience, in Marketing or similar area of study, and seven to ten years previous experience.

Highly collaborative mindset and excellent relationship-building skills, including the ability to engage and influence many diverse stakeholders and team members, and gain their co-ownership of outcomes
Marketing, business operations, or management consulting experience at a large-scale B2B+B2C organization
Demonstrated experience working with functions across the organization (Operations, Sales, Finance, etc.) and within the marketing team (Creative, Media, etc.).
A self-starter with a passion for problem solving and a naturally curious mind. Willing to dive in and work alongside partners and team members to accomplish goals
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced ambiguous environment, implementing clear structures, and operational plans with attention to detail
Experience and passion for diving into details while also being able to connect the dots and organize efforts into themes for better coordination.
Experience with large scale M&A integration efforts considered a plus.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including but not limited to: PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Power BI, Sales Force, Marketing Cloud, and Planner.

This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
