Operating as a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Implement monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
Prepare reconciliations of Balance Sheet accounts
Bring a daily dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Function with business partners to ensure compliance with procedures and controls, corporate accounting policies, and provide support on special requests
Complete other projects as required
Review financial results (benchmarks, trends, performance metrics)
Assemble monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Coordinate quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Participate in various initiatives spanning multiple departments
Requirements - Proven analytical skills - defining problems, collecting relevant data, drawing valid conclusions, and recommending improvement/corrective actions
Experience with ERP systems
Ability to handle multiple projects within strict deadlines
Experience in SOX control execution/documentation
Demonstrated skills in interacting effectively, both verbally and in writing, with functional managers
Practices experience
Background working with Accounting Functions
Solid understanding of planning
Strong familiarity with supervising
Adeptness in Creativity
General familiarity with A Plus
Practical knowledge of Work Papers
Tax Director experience highly preferred
Knowledge of procedures
Experience with taxes
Demonstrated knowledge of tax returns
Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges
We are searching for candidates that are proficient in financial reporting
Competence with financial data analysis and report generation that is prompt and accurate
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are desired
Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
Proficiency with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience
