Sr. Accountant

Description In this role, you will be tasked with a multitude of accounting responsibilities, including maintaining records, reviewing financial statements, and assisting with payroll. Responsibilities: Handle the upkeep and updating of accounting records and files Scrutinize financial statements to ensure their accuracy Conduct account reconciliations for the balance sheet Post and categorize transactions in the general ledger, including assets, liabilities, and expenses Ensure bank statements are reconciled Manage payroll reconciliations and act as a backup for the payroll clerk Execute month-end and year-end closures Prepare necessary documents for audits Report to the CFO and contribute to the improvement of financial processesRequirements 5+ years of month end close experience Proficiency in Account Reconciliation Experience with Balance Sheet Reconciliation Expertise in handling General Ledger Familiarity with Journal Entries Proficient in Microsoft Excel Experience in Month End Close procedures Knowledge of GAAP Accounting Ability to Analyze Financial Statements Experience in managing PayrollIf you meet the minimum requirements, please send resumes directly to Chelsea Halon - chelsea.halon@roberthalf com Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
