Description We are seeking a Cash Application Specialist to join our team in Waterbury, Connecticut. This role will involve working within a high volume manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling cash activities, billing functions, and cash applications. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Manage and process accounts receivable and automated clearing house (ACH) transactions Utilize accounting software systems and enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools to maintain accurate records Handle cash applications and ensure all cash activity is recorded and reconciled accurately Leverage CRM and Crystal Reports to manage customer data and generate necessary reports Use Great Plains (GPAC) system for various accounting tasks Ensure all billing functions are carried out efficiently and effectively Address and resolve any customer credit inquiries promptly and professionally Monitor customer credit accounts and take necessary actions to collect delinquent payments Maintain accurate customer credit records and process customer credit applications efficiently. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role or related field Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems Knowledge of Crystal Reports Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems Experience with Great Plains (GPAC) Understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR) processes Experience with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions Proficiency in billing functions Strong understanding of cash activity and cash applications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as a part of a team High level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong problem-solving skills Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field is preferred Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
