Description We are providing an opportunity for a Loan Servicing - Support role in the mortgage industry, based in Wallingford, Connecticut. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and involves a range of responsibilities related to loan servicing, data entry, and customer service.Responsibilities: Efficiently process customer credit applications in the mortgage lending sector Maintain precise and up-to-date customer credit records Respond effectively to customer inquiries and resolve issues Monitor and manage customer accounts, taking necessary actions based on account status Use your strong knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations to ensure compliance in all operations Work independently with minimal supervision and interact effectively with various internal and external stakeholders Demonstrate a strong attention to detail, especially in identifying outliers in data, researching them, and achieving resolution Effectively multitask and prioritize work in a dynamic environment Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing Utilize MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, to manage data and create reports.Requirements Proven experience in Loan Servicing within a Mortgage Company industry setting Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software Ability to perform Data Entry tasks accurately and efficiently Familiarity with corporate paralegal duties, demonstrating strong legal acumen Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and in a team Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions Willingness to stay updated with industry trends and latest regulations Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service.
