This role requires to be onsite 5 days a week .Responsibilities:

HW design engineer supporting several projects.

Responsible for designing circuits, generating schematics, Bills of Material (BOMs), and Design Verification (DVT) test plans and results.

Position requiresknowledge of schematic and PCB design tools.

Develops and maintains positive working relationships with other engineering disciplines and other ARRIS functions, such as project management, product management and supply chain.

Required Qualifications:

A 4-year Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical engineering discipline from an accredited institution in the U.S. OR currently employed by Commscope in an exempt, non-managerial engineering position.

Knowledge of microprocessor and microcontroller design with the understanding of basic computer architecture

Knowledge of serial communications protocols (SPI, I2C, USB)

Basic knowledge of Hardware Description Languages (VHDL or Verilog)

Basic knowledge of CPLD and FPGA development including design, synthesis, and verification

Knowledge of SPICE simulation tools

Lab experience with Oscilloscopes and Spectrum Analyzers

Knowledge of product lifecycle models

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent teamwork attitude and skills
