Business Intelligence (BI) Consultant

Description We are offering an opportunity for a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst in the insurance industry. This role is located in Trumbull, Connecticut, and involves utilizing various BI technologies to generate insights that are key to our business operations. You will be tasked with data analysis, development of data products, and collaboration with different departments to understand their data requirements.Responsibilities: Utilize Domo and Snowflake to gather, cleanse, and analyze large datasets to generate insights related to business operations. Develop and manage data products with Domo to monitor key performance indices and provide actionable insights to stakeholders. Collaborate with various departments to understand their data needs and convert these needs into implementable projects. Ensure data quality, accuracy, and security through the practical application of data governance. Create data models and schemas in collaboration with Data Engineers to meet business intelligence and analytical requirements. Use tools such as BusinessObjects Technologies, Cognos Business Intelligence, and MicroStrategy Development to analyze business requirements and develop solutions. Leverage skills in AB Testing, Analytics, and Business Intelligence Technologies to enhance business operations. Perform other duties as needed.Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the Health Insurance industry Proficiency in BusinessObjects Technologies Knowledge of Cognos Business Intelligence Familiarity with Database structures and management Experience with EO/IR systems Skilled in MicroStrategy Development Knowledgeable in AB Testing methodologies Strong background in Analytics Experience in Business Intelligence (BI) Familiarity with various Business Intelligence Technologies Proven ability to create and manage Business Requirement Documents Experience with Domo or Tableau is a plus Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and within a team Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
