Description: Follow standard procedures and detailed method or oral instructions to perform preparatory and follow-up operations on aircraft, details, assemblies, and installations prior to and after spray paint operations.Check incoming parts against accompanying, paperwork for correct callouts, quantity, identification, and completion of prior operations.Hand clean, sand, and mask parts as prescribed and perform stripping, washing or simple spray-painting operations as required.Perform various masking duties and apply color codes or other identification markings as specified.Maintain logs or records of parts processed into and out of department, as required and prepare routing to destinations specified.Apply ship’s grip and specified caulking on aircraft assemblies and/or installations.Perform simple touch-up operations, apply rust preventative, assist higher-grade painters and perform other related paint shop duties as directed.Refer all questionable conditions or recurring difficulties to working leader or foreman.Follow all rules and regulations pertaining to environmental health and safety.Segregate waste material and follow good housekeeping practices.Basic Qualifications:Simple spray painting duties require ability to read and follow written or oral instructions, read and understand paint codes. etc.6 months experienceDesired Skills:Simple spray painting duties require ability to read and follow written or oral instructions, read and understand paint codes. etc.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:job.QualificationsLockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
