Description Senior Accountant (Corp HQ with C Suite exposure)Our client a global fortune 1000 firm (next to train station) is adding to their finance team. This is a core corp accounting role and works closely with the Controller focusing on financial reporting: month-end close, journal entries, accountant recs, as well as management analytics, and audit support. The firm is known for a top notch professional environment, and a nice work / life balance.Responsibilities: Oversee the process of creating journal entries as part of regular accounting procedures Perform account reconciliation tasks, including balance sheet and bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy in financial records Facilitate the month-end close process in a timely manner, adhering to strict deadlines Contribute to the consolidation of financial reports, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards Provide assistance in audit processes, offering necessary support to ensure smooth execution Leverage skills in Microsoft Excel, NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP for performing various accounting tasks Actively participate in management reporting analytics, providing insights for decision-making Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date.Requirements Requirements: BS/BA Accounting, and 3 plus years of accounting experience is necessary.
