Take patient vitals and room patients
Assist in patient education and medication verifications
Manage phone calls and perform scans
Check patients in and out
Schedule appointments and handle prior authorizations
Assist providers during examinations and procedures
Essential Skills
Minimum of 1 year experience in medical assisting
Medical Assisting Diploma
Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
Strong understanding of medical terminology and patient care
Effective communication skills
Experience with appointment scheduling and blood pressure monitoring
Knowledge in dermatology
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification
Experience in a dermatology setting is preferred
Work EnvironmentOur practice is very busy and fast-paced, with ten offices that are constantly growing with new providers. You will be working in a general dermatology setting. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with flexible hours ranging from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, or 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
