Director, NBA Operations - NBC Sports

Director, NBA Operations reports to the Vice President, NBA Operations and will be responsible for managing NBA on NBC. ResponsibilitiesAct as an effective communication conduit between Remote Operations Management, Production teams, and league contacts.Manage a team of Production Managers supporting NBA.Partner with arena / stadium / and or tournament personnel regarding mobile unit arrival and schedule.Oversee credentials, logistics such as compound set-up, security, catering, transportation, flight and hotel adjustments and report crew hours.Hire and partner with payroll to ensure correct and timely payment to the crew.Director, NBA Operations works closely with Production, Talent, and with the show’s Technical Manager.Manages multiple budgets in coordination with the show’s Producer and Finance. This includes ensuring all costs are accounted for and bills are paid.Oversee hotel block bookings.Oversees the shows’ crew schedule and provides support for Production, Talent needs; must work closely with studio team.Travel onsite to remote NBA events.
