We empower our clients to live better.As the organization continues to scale, we are looking to hire a Billing Specialist/AR within our Revenue Cycle/Business Administration Team at Performance Optimal Health. This position is responsible for managing the revenue cycle functions related to patient billing and accounts receivable. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and has strong communication and problem-solving skills.Responsibilities:

Review and process patient claims and invoices

Verify insurance eligibility and benefits

Resolve billing issues and follow up on outstanding accounts

Work with insurance companies and patients to collect payments and resolve disputes

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and billing information

Provide exceptional customer service to patients and internal stakeholders

Assist with other billing and revenue cycle tasks as needed

This position will be on-site at our Stamford location

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent

2+ years of experience in medical billing or accounts receivable

Knowledge of healthcare billing procedures and insurance reimbursement

Strong understanding of billing and coding regulations (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS)

Proficiency in using billing software and MS Office Suite

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
