We offer a complete package of facilities services, including including HVAC, mechanical and electrical construction services, engineering, design, installation, repair and maintenance.Job Title: Controls TechnicianSummary: This position is responsible for the preventive maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of building automation systemsEssential Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.Interact with the client in a professional and courteous manner while maintaining a clean and neat appearancePerform job assignments as organized by supervisor and/or service dispatch personnel.Responsible for BAS system preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.Uses a variety of hand tools, laptop, interpreting control drawings, plans, and specifications.Analyzes, diagnoses, and repairs direct digital control systems at customer's location.Prepares for on-site repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials and coordinating on-site work, as necessary.Provides training and follow-up training at customer site.Provides sales leads to appropriate personnel.Documents work by completing paperwork (iphone) for each call, including daily time, progress, and duration; and maintaining files.Records parts, material, labor, and other cost data per assignment and returns unused resources.Turn in all required paperwork and reports in a timely manner.Represents the company by serving as a direct customer contact.Keeps current primarily on Delta, but also similar products such as Trane, JCI and others concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair of direct digital control systems.Provides technical support to customers on assigned accountsQualifications:

High school diploma, certificate from college or technical school, and 3 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Strong understanding of DDC systems, control theory and applications.

Knowledgeable of HVAC equipment including written sequences of operation

Effectively able to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.

Communicate clearly and effectively.

Work independently and as a team member.

Proficient with a Digital Multi-meter and other testing tools

Ability to work overtime, varied shift hours and occasional travel as needed.

Must have a valid driver's license.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, climb, kneel, twist, stand and climb stairs and ladders
