Description:  Plan and perform complete inspection operations on all prototypes, production, and model change and out of production transmission, rotor head, gearbox, and power plant systems and related complex dynamic component and detail parts. Inspections to be performed at various levels of component assembly, from detail component inspection through final aircraft acceptance in accordance with individual job assignments.Basic Qualifications:Requires a well-rounded knowledge of aircraft component inspection procedures, manufacturing functions, assembly and mechanical operations. Also requires ability to read and interpret complicated drawings, use precision measuring instruments, follow engineering orders and instructions, and interpret military and commercial specifications according to inspection practices. Requires 2 or 4 years high school plus 2 to 3 years mechanical trades training. Must maintain any certification(s) as required.
