Description We are offering an opportunity for a Cash Application Specialist located in Trumbull, Connecticut. As part of our team, you will handle high volume cash applications, review, apply, and reconcile for accuracy in a team environment. This role demands proficiency in Excel and ERP systems and requires skills related to accounting software systems, enterprise resource planning, accounts receivable, billing functions, and cash activity among others.Responsibilities: Handle high volume cash applications efficiently Review and apply cash applications and reconcile for accuracy Work collaboratively within a team environment Utilize Excel and ERP systems effectively for the role Manage accounting software systems and enterprise resource planning Handle accounts receivable and billing functions Monitor cash activity, cash applications, and cash deposits Conduct cash balance checks and cash reconciliations Efficiently manage daily cash receipts. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Cash Application Specialist or in a similar role. Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems. Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning. Experience in using Great Plains (GPAC) software. Solid understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR) and Billing Functions. Knowledge and experience in handling Cash Activities, Cash Applications, and Cash Deposits. Ability to manage Cash Balance and perform Cash Reconciliations. Experience processing Daily Cash Receipts. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Good organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
