Accounting Manager

Description We are on the lookout for a diligent Accounting Manager to become a part of our team within the Manufacturing industry, based in SHELTON, Connecticut. The Accounting Manager will play a critical role in managing financial data, ensuring the accuracy of accounting records, and responding to customer inquiries. This role requires someone bilingual in English and Spanish.Responsibilities: Oversee the processing of customer credit applications with precision and speed. Ensure the maintenance of precise customer credit records. Effectively address and resolve customer inquiries and concerns. Monitor customer accounts and initiate appropriate actions when necessary. Handle account reconciliation tasks and maintain up-to-date records. Oversee the monthly close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Manage and post journal entries to guarantee accurate accounting records. Utilize BlackLine for financial data management and report generation.Requirements Spanish/English bilingual required Demonstrated experience in a managerial role within the manufacturing industry. Proficiency in accounting software, specifically BlackLine. Demonstrable experience with month-end close processes. Strong skills in account reconciliation. Ability to prepare and maintain accurate journal entries. Solid understanding of manufacturing financial systems and procedures. Exceptional leadership and team management abilities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Relevant detail oriented certification (e.g., CMA, CPA) is preferred.
