Staff Accountant

Description We are on the hunt for a Staff Accountant to join our client's team. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of functions including the processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger and preparing journal entries. You will also be involved in the month-end close process. Responsibilities: Manage both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and rectify discrepancies Ensure the general ledger is accurate and updated Prepare and post monthly journal entries Participate in the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is recorded accurately and in a timely manner Address customer inquiries in a courteous and professional manner Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary Be adaptable to a fast-paced working environment.Requirements Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred Proven experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience in making Journal Entries Ability to manage Month End Close processes Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to meet deadlines.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
