Title of Position: Sourcing Manager Location: Ridgefield, CT Hours/Schedule: Full-time Compensation: $50-56/hr Type: 1 year contract OverviewJoule has an opportunity for a hybrid Sourcing Manager to work with a renowned pharmaceutical company. The ideal candidate will have many years of experience working inside clinical research. Responsibilities
Identify and evaluate existing and potential local suppliers as well as the establishment and maintenance of supplier relations.
Use Business Review Meeting and KPI leverage to resolve potential issues at an early stage.
Feedback to Category Manager as needed.
Manage local Business Partners actively and collaborate in order to align common goals.
Coordinate Business Partner Demands within Sourcing and ensure that relevant information is shared and Business Partner is supported adequately.
Optimize buying channels and leverage market opportunities.
Requirements
Master's Degree from an Accredited Institution
Ten (10+) years of Sourcing experience inside the pharmaceutical industry.
Demonstrated efficiency in the following:
Demand management
Market and supply analysis
Contract Negotiation
Demonstrated experience in collaborating with internal and external resources to develop strategies that meet department goals within budget and established timeline.
Strong project management skills, ability to influence and bring teams to consensus and agreement
