Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist elderly clients in their homes, helping them with daily living activities and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Personal Care: Assist clients with personal care activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
2. Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
3. Medication Reminders: Ensure clients take their prescribed medications on time.
4. Companionship: Provide companionship, engage in conversations, and accompany clients on walks or social activities.
5. Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain a clean living environment.
6. Transportation: Accompany clients to appointments, shopping, or other outings.
7. Monitoring Changes: Monitor and report any changes in the client's condition or behavior.
8. Adherence to Policies: Follow all company policies, procedures, and the care plan designed for each client.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in personal care or related field preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compassionate and patient demeanor.
Must pass a background check.
