Perioperative Services Program Manager

Job Description: Works collaboratively with the Backus Surgical Services and Orthopedic leadership team and works cross functionally regarding implementation of strategic planning, program development, operational quality improvement, capital planning and financial/budget reporting and monitoring for all of perioperative services. Oversees clinical operations in perioperative services, utilizing specialized expertise and training. Minimum Requirements Education Bachelor’s Degree Experience 5 years of RN experience Demonstrated progressive leadership experience with a minimum of 2 years Licensure, Certification, Registration Registered Nurse Language Skills English Preferred Requirements Education Master’s Degree Experience Demonstrated experience in surgical operations. Preferred experience in ASC setting. Licensure, Certification, Registration AORN Certified Language Skills English, Spanish Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements Demonstrated knowledge of Surgical Services. Demonstrated understanding and experience in creating, implementing and managing hospital protocols and quality systems. Excellent foundation of perioperative services operations/administration. Knowledge of specialized applications software for medical record, patient scheduling and billing. Strong ability to work completely independently, Must be able to use sound judgment in solving problems. Strong ability to coordinate many complex systems and programs simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including consultative, influencing, and relationship management skills. Specialized knowledge and training in areas of responsibility. Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels. Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
