Description We are providing an opportunity to join our team in Norwich, Connecticut as an IT Leader. The chosen candidate will be primarily responsible for managing and directing our company's information technology operations, ensuring that the department provides efficient and effective support and service. This role also involves overlooking the company's security initiatives, conducting risk assessments, and strategizing to mitigate potential security threats.Responsibilities: Analyze IT infrastructure and systems performance to assess operating costs, productivity levels, upgrade requirements, and other metrics and needs. Develop and update departmental policies and direct the development of operational and capital budgets to support department operations and infrastructure. Continuously monitor and analyze emerging technology trends, industry best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure that the organization remains at the forefront of innovation and security. Direct the development and implementation of technology projects and initiatives. Oversee the development, modification, and operation of security protocols including intrusion detection and prevention systems to protect the organization’s information from breach or loss. Facilitate IT security audits or investigations and serve as the HIPAA Security Officer, facilitating organizational risk assessments and corrective action. Direct the acquisition, implementation, and administration of all technology and information and communications systems including leases, equipment, hardware, and software throughout the organization. Supervise the IT Manager & Project Manager, being responsible for the overall IT department. Lead Technology Strategy by providing strategic insights and recommendations to guide the organization's technology roadmap and long-term vision.Requirements Minimum of 10 years of experience in Information Technology and Security Demonstrated expertise in Security frameworks Proven experience in People Management Proficient in implementing Information Security measures Ability to develop and execute Cyber Security strategies Strong knowledge of IT Strategy Excellent leadership and team management skills Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
