Description Job Title: Accounts Payable CoordinatorCompany Overview: We are a fast-paced and rapidly growing company in the Service industry; seeking a detail-oriented and problem-solving professional to join our team in the vital role of Accounts Payable Coordinator. Given the high volume of transactions managed by our business, we need a dedicated individual who can competently handle a steady stream of invoices, ensuring their accuracy and timely processing.Responsibilities: Review and process high volumes of vendor invoices accurately and timely. Perform the batching, matching, and coding of invoices. Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment. Set invoices up for payment and process check requests. Prioritize invoices according to cash discount potential and payment terms. Respond to vendor inquiries and reconcile vendor statements. Maintain vendor files and correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries. Assist in month end closing and provide supporting documentation for audits. Adhere to company policies and procedures.Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field or equivalent work experience is preferred, but not required. 2+ years’ experience in accounts payable required. Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel. Ability to process and follow-up on rush items. Familiarity with accounting software such as SAP, NetSuite, or similar would be advantageous. Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
