Description One of the leading service companies in Norwalk, CT is seeking a skilled Accounts Payable candidate for a newly created role. Job Description:We are actively seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a solid knowledge of AP processing, batching, and coding and will be comfortable processing over 250 invoices per week.Responsibilities:
Code, verify, and process a high volume of invoices every week
Maintain precise records of payments and expenditures
Carry out timely account reconciliation by verifying entries and comparing to balances
Resolve any invoice discrepancies
Participate in month-end tasks and yearly closings
Maintain vendor files and communicate with vendors regarding billing issues
Collaborate with the accounting team to prepare financial reports

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Netsuite are highly desired. Strong understanding of accounting principles within Accounts Payable is necessary. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial. Must have the ability to multi-task and prioritize work effectively. Good communication skills, both written and verbal, are required. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking are necessary.
