Phone / Administrative assistance needed for well established 20 year + private medical / surgical practice.
Although previous medical administrative experience is beneficial, it is not a requirement for this position for the right candidate open and eager to learn.
We are seeking an individual with very strong telephone and clerical / administrative assisting skills, who is organized in mind and actions. This position is for telephone answering, making appointments, handling calls and fielding questions from telephone, and providing basic answers and assisting with clerical activities, copies, faxes, emails, filing, etc.
We are very willing to train the right individual who should be confident and ready to join as a team member. In a smaller private medical practice, we are all team members affecting the patient outcomes, which brings a sense of satisfaction to all as a key helpful member.
This medical office has two locations, alternating through the week. It is expected to be present at both locations and eventually there may be possibility for this position to be at just one of the locations.
The hours are roughly 30-35 weekly and we may have allowance for more or less to accommodate employee interests and can be flexible for employee scheduling needs.
