Hull Forest Products is hardwood sawmill and we are looking for an experienced second shift (11:00AM-7:00PM) millwright mechanic.
The qualified candidate is responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing debarkers, saws, log sorters, conveyors etc.
You need to perform scheduled preventative maintenance on processing equipment, belts, chain conveyors, hydraulic, pneumatic and lubrication systems to keep our sawmill equipment operating smoothly.
Requirements:
Must possess welding skills, mig, stick
Must have industrial electric knowledge, low voltage and high voltage
Must have plumbing skills
Must follow machine specifications and adhere to maintenance schedules (overtime including nights and weekends if necessary)
Able to use a variety of tools to do repairs and preventive maintenance
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
A minimum of 2-year experience working as a mechanic in a similar manufacturing setting is preferred
Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs
Flexible schedule
Overtime available as approved and needed
May be asked to work weekends
