Compounder

REPORTS TO: Compounding Manager or Supervisor EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or equivalent. Previous experience mixing compounds in a manufacturing environment preferred. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Manufacture product as directed, following batch sheets and complying with S.O.P. and cGMP procedures. Check and identify all raw materials using crude codes to insure correct manufacture of products. Maintain cleanliness and appearance of compounding department. Maintain proper liaison with all departments to contribute to the team philosophy. Responsible for following all safety and quality regulations by complying with S.O.P.’s, CT DEEP, EPA, OSHA, FDA, and cGMP’s while performing duties. Follow all Environmental and OSHA requirements as directed by S.O.P. Attend in-house training sessions. Other assigned tasks as necessary assigned by Management. KEY REQUIREMENTS: Computer literacy including MS Office, and the ability to learn in-house programs. High degree of focus on quality standards Reliability and a strong work-ethic Lifting requirements up to 50 pounds. Must be able to pass medical clearance to be able to wear a respirator to perform the duties of the job.
