Our Culinary Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for guests at the camping resort. This includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as special events. Responsibilities
Prepare and cook meals for guests using a variety of cooking methods and techniques, including grilling, frying, baking, and sautéing
Follow directions from lead supervisors to ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards
Monitor food inventory levels and place orders for ingredients as needed
Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned
Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment at all times
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Collaborate with other departments, including food and beverage, housekeeping, and maintenance, to ensure a seamless guest experience
Skills
Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook
Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
Familiar with industry’s best practices
Culinary school diploma desired but not mandatory
Food Handlers Permit a plus
