We are a small Real Estate Management Firm and we are seeking a full-time property manager to oversee several properties within New Haven & Fairfield County . This position is very hands-on and the successful candidate will have a strong and consistent attention to detail, demonstrate punctuality in deliverables, a good attitude and ability to work as a team-player, manage a team, multi-task across various knowledge bases, and ability to switch from office to field environment and back again.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

- Recall of tenants (needs, issues, names, faces, etc), vendors and staff

- Prepare and distribute memos, notices and other correspondence to residents.

- Coordinate all property inspections.

- Resident communication

- Supervision of building staff.

- Interface with residents

- Inspect property on a weekly basis to ensure building operations are performing according to standards and procedures.

- Coordinate access with tenants, as necessary, for on-going repairs or projects.

- Familiar with all City Agencies and being able to stay on top of violations, violation orders etc

- Oversee repairs.

- Order supplies.

- Handle emergency situations.

Skills/Qualifications:

Minimum two years experience in real estate management

Strong skills in Microsoft Word/Excel

Strong writing skills

Strong communication and customer service skills; attention to detail.

Decision making ability

Knowledge Housing Court

Must be a self-starter

Making clients feel happy and important

Managing workers schedules and responsibilities

Coordinating vendors at a wide range of properties

Requesting proposals and bids from vendors

Scheduling maintenance appointments at buildings

Inspect general conditions at buildings

good optimistic attitude

Maintaining records of tenants and vendors

Communicating verbally, via email and in person
