Job Description:
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Construction Laborer to join our chute installation team. This position involves traveling to job sites on the East Coast to assist with the installation of chute systems in commercial buildings. The ideal candidate is comfortable with physical labor, working at heights, and following safety protocols in a construction environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the installation of trash, linen, recycling chutes, and trash compactors in commercial buildings.
Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
Work with power tools, hand tools, and construction materials.
Follow safety guidelines and wear required PPE at all times.
Travel to various job sites as needed (travel expenses covered by the company).
Work effectively with the installation team to meet project deadlines.
Requirements:
Experience in commercial construction, metalwork, or chute installation is a plus but not required.
Ability to lift heavy materials
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable working at heights and on ladders/scaffolding.
Willingness to travel frequently and stay on-site for short periods.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from our warehouse.
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to learn.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
